It’s a show about everything, with a song about nothing.

What happens when 3 buddies meet for coffee, write a song, drive to various studios around Los Angeles, visit a special guest, then come back and mix the song that night?

The Song In A Day Show happens, that’s what.

Check out our latest episodes.

Ep5 - The one that gets better tomorrow

Bryan joins the SIAD team along with Aaron De La Cruz, Andy Timmons, and Mike Medina as they write a special song about a gift. Matt and Paul bring their wives in for vocals for the first time as well.

Ep4 - The one with a gift

REO Speedwagon joins the guys for their 3rd Song in a Day! The morning begins while it's still dark out, and runs later into the night than previous episodes. Percussionist John Mahon tells the story about Brett Tuggle pleading "I'm Right Here!" which inspired today's song.

Ep2 - The one that says “I’m Right Here!”

Ellis Hall meets up and puts his funky goodness on the song Perfect. Danny Jacobs adds his guitar flavors. The guys discover that writing and producing a full 3-1/2 minute long song in a day is much tougher than a 50 second theme song.

Ep2 - The one that’s perfect, perfect

Rick Springfield joins Matt, Gregg, and Paul for the first-ever SIAD episode and sings the official theme song. Frank Sandoval joins up with some guitars. It’s a wild ride!

Ep1 - The one where they write a theme song

Pawnshop Kings make an appearance on the show. Paul, Matt, and Gregg recall a two-day recording session years ago that started out one way and ended up feeling completely different. So they wrote a song about it.

Ep6 - The one with the sunshine

We took a drive down the coast to San Diego to connect with Train on their Summer Road Trip tour. We set up a little studio backstage and recorded this tune in between soundchecks.

Did someone say Merch?

We’re working on it. Stay tuned!
